Homemade protein shake without protein powder

That is why we have gathered some magnificent homemade protein shakes that do not require protein powder. They can be easily made with simple ingredients, which are found in all grocery shops.

Raspberry almond shake

With that one you can give your body good amounts of fibers, proteins and beneficial fats. It makes an awesome morning shake which is sweet and healthy. What will you need?

  • Half a cup of frozen raspberries
  • 5.3 ounces of plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon of maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon of chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon of hemp hearts
  • 1/8 of a tablespoon of almond extract
  • ½ a cup of unsweetened cashew milk.

How to prepare the shake: Well, simply put all of the ingredients into a blender. Blend them together until they are smooth and then pour the shake into a glass. Voilà, you are ready!

Chai shake

This shake has a sweet flavor and is quite aromatic. It can be a wonderful way to start you day healthy and full of energy. What will you need?

  • 5.3 ounces of vanilla Greek yogurt
  • ½ of a tablespoon of ground cinnamon
  • ¼ of a tablespoon of ground cardamom
  • Small pinch of ground cloves
  • 1/8 of a tablespoon of ground ginger
  • 1/8 of a tablespoon of ground allspice
  • 1 tablespoon of hemp hearts
  • 1 tablespoon of chia seeds
  • 1 frozen medium banana (should be cut into chunks)
  • ½ of a cup of unsweetened cashew milk

How to prepare the shake: Put everything into the blender. Blend the ingredients together until they become smooth. Pour the shake into a glass and that is it!

Mexican chocolate shake

It will be not only delicious but also very refreshing when the weather is hot. That shake has a rich flavor and is quite aromatic. What will you need?

  • 10 raw almonds
  • 5.3 ounces of plain Greek yogurt
  • ¼ of a cup of cooked chilled quinoa
  • 1 and ½ of a tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ of a tablespoon of cinnamon
  • 1 medium frozen banana (should be cut into chunks)
  • ¾ of a cup of unsweetened cashew milk

Optionally you can add a tablespoon of maple syrup if you wish to make the shake sweeter.
